Andrew Lachow, Of Counsel, has thirty years experience as a litigator and trial lawyer. As an Assistant United States Attorney, he represented the government in a variety of high profile criminal matters, and as a civil litigator he has represented and counseled national entertainment companies and a variety of other media clients.
Andrew is a graduate of NYU Law School (1986) and has a B.A. in History from SUNY Binghamton (1983). He began his legal career at Stroock & Stroock & Lavan, before clerking for the Honorable John S. Martin in the Southern District of New York, and then joining the United States Attorney’s Office in that district. During his eight years as an AUSA, he held positions as the Acting Chief of the Public Corruption Unit and Deputy Chief of the Narcotics Unit, and tried jury trials and argued eleven appeals before the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. After leaving the U.S. Attorney’s office, he became a partner at Seyfarth Shaw, and then joined the law department at Time Inc., where he headed the litigation department and held the title of Vice President, Chief Compliance Officer and Deputy General Counsel-Litigation.
Andrew is admitted to practice in the courts of the State of New York, as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
