1/29 – The 9th Circuit has granted rehearing en banc in Martinz v. ZoomInfo Tech on the issue of whether the denial of an anti-SLAPP motion is immediately appealable. At stake is whether the statute will continue to protect speech by streamlining litigation of meritless claims, or whether erroneous decisions by lower courts will go unchallenged until after the jury renders its verdict.
