Our Practice

We are a boutique media and entertainment law firm, with more than one hundred years of combined experience litigating, negotiating, and advising. Our clients include software companies like Adobe; news and information publishers like Newsweek, and The Independent; television production companies like IPC, producer of Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath, and Secrets of Playboy; Maxine Productions, producer of Quiet On Set; Half Moon Entertainment, producer of On Patrol Live; Big Fish Entertainment, producer of Live PD; 3BMG, producer of My Unorthodox Life and Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, as well as filmmakers, writers, producers, podcasters, playwrights, and news, consumer, and entertainment publications.

We handle defamation, privacy, copyright, and trademark claims; provide newsgathering, copyright and trademark counseling; conduct pre-publication, pre-broadcast, and title clearance; prepare fair use and E&O opinion letters; advise on FTC endorsement guidelines; negotiate production, development, access and participant agreements; and draft appearance, materials and location releases.

Cameron Stracher is a graduate of Harvard Law School, and previously General Counsel—Media at American Media, and a partner at Levine, Sullivan, Koch & Schulz. Andrew Lachow is a former Assistant US Attorney and head of litigation at Time Inc. Sarah Regan, Sara Tesoriero, and Michelle Sawyer are skilled transactional and litigation attorneys who have worked with both individuals and start-ups, artists and writers, as well as national and international media companies.
